Do You Produce Results or Excuses?

by Mike Monahan

“Everyone ought to bear patiently the results of his own conduct.”

– Phaedrus

When you look at an average day at work, do you find that you produce results or excuses?

When you’re on a mission to be successful, you must remember it happens one step at a time. If you want immediate results, you’ll probably fall into the trap of thinking that you’re failing when success doesn’t happen right away.

We don’t like failing, so we look for good excuses.

Learn the discipline of specific action, and the results will appear. The key to success is in your willingness to take action.

Please join me as I discuss action, results, excuses and other topics from my latest book, Your Future Is Stuck in Your Past, at an upcoming Cincinnati Business Courier breakfast on Tuesday, March 18 at the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.

At “Unlock the Door to Business Success,” on March 18, we’ll look at how you can win with results instead of losing with excuses.
